1. Who we are
This website is owned and operated by Portial, Inteligência Artificial, Lda, registered under VAT number 517 695 588, with offices at Av. da Boavista 3211, 4100-135 Porto, Portugal.
2. Scope
These terms govern the use of the website portial.pt and the informational materials it provides. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Commercial engagements with Portial (Diagnostic, Production Sprint, Operate) are governed by a separate, signed contract. These website terms do not create any commercial relationship.
3. Content ownership
All content on this website — text, images, logos, design, code — is the property of Portial unless otherwise stated. You may read, share and cite it with attribution. You may not copy substantial portions or republish without our written consent.
4. Use of the website
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site
- Scrape content systematically for commercial use
- Use the contact form to send spam, malicious content or unsolicited sales pitches
5. Commercial engagements
When we work with a client, we always sign a master agreement or statement of work that covers:
- Scope: fixed and agreed in writing before we start.
- IP: all code, model weights and documentation produced in the engagement belong to the client on payment.
- Confidentiality: mutual NDA by default.
- Data protection: a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) based on EU standards.
6. No warranty on website content
Website content is provided "as is" for informational purposes. It is not legal, financial or technical advice. We try to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it is error-free or current.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, Portial is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from the use of the website. Liability arising from a signed commercial contract is governed by that contract.

The website may link to third-party sites (for example, the CNPD, LinkedIn, external articles). We are not responsible for the content, terms or privacy practices of third-party websites.

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute arising from the website (not a commercial contract) is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Porto, Portugal.
