Portial is a small studio based in Porto. We design, build and operate artificial intelligence systems for organisations that want results in production, not in a demo.
The wrong problem. The wrong data. No path to production. Most consultancies are good at one of these. We work on all three.
We are engineers, researchers and operators. We've shipped AI into industry, healthcare and the public sector. We know what it takes for a model to still be working six months after launch. That's the only outcome we sell.
Slides are a means. A running system is the product. We measure ourselves by what stays in production.
Fixed scope, clear timelines, no creep. If the problem moves, we re-scope openly.
Code, weights and docs go into your repo. No lock-in. We never train across clients.
GDPR, NIS2 and the EU AI Act aren't things we bolt on at the end. They shape the architecture from the first sketch.
